THE HALO EFFECT’S EUROPEAN TOUR COMES TO FINLAND IN SPRING 2027 


The Halo Effect, a Swedish band carrying on the legacy of melodic death metal, will arrive in Finland in spring 2027 and perform at Pakkahuone in Tampere’s Tullikamari on March 18.

Combining heavy guitar riffs and catchy melodies into a dense soundscape, The Halo Effect has been praised for reviving the iconic Gothenburg sound. The band members are known for their key roles in In Flames and Dark Tranquillity—two genre-defining cornerstones that propelled the genre to global popularity at the turn of the 21st century. Their 2022 debut album, Days of the Lost, earned top chart positions in both Sweden and Finland, and the follow-up, March of the Unheard (2025) has further solidified the band’s position as a creator that honors the genre’s traditions, whose flame burns ever brighter.

The Halo Effect’s most recent club shows in Finland took place in early winter 2025, after which the band has also performed at several festivals in Finland. The spring 2027 shows will ensure that an even wider audience gets to experience their uncompromising live performance in all its glory. 
 


The band’s guitarist Niclas Engelin commented enthusiastically on the upcoming tour: “Halos in Europe, we can’t wait to be back on the road in 2027! This time we’re bringing the almighty Lacuna Coil and Omnium Gatherum with us, who we’ve been friends with for a long time. We look forward to an amazing time with you all!”

Rounding out the lineup is the leading Italian modern metal act, Lacuna Coil. The five-piece band, known for their gothic metal anthems that build to epic climaxes, draws inspiration from acts such as Bring Me the Horizon, Hans Zimmer, and Paradise Lost.

The evening kicks off with the long-standing Finnish metal giants Omnium Gatherum, who have been wowing audiences with their distinctive style since the 1990s. The band’s thunderous riffs, catchy melodies, and pounding rhythms combine into a masterful blend of Scandinavian death metal and melodic harmonies.
