The year gets off to a heavy start in Tampere when TalviHelvetti rocks the newly renovated Pakkahuone and Klubi at Tullikamari on Friday, January 8.

The headliner, Fleshgod Apocalypse, combines symphonic death metal with technical virtuosity and emotions that cut to the core of the soul. The band, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027, released its previous album in 2024. Fleshgod Apocalypse records for the acclaimed label Nuclear Blast Records.

The Finnish acts performing at these heavy metal nights represent the diverse styles of heavy music in 2027. Assemble the Chariots crafts precise and skillful symphonic deathcore; Whispered’s melodic death metal has a strong Japanese influence; Fear of Domination continues to fly the flag for industrial metal; and Kneel Before the Death’s intensity has been described as “extreme metal.”
