Would you like to find a new way to participate, help others or belong to the community? The Volunteer Fair invites Tampere residents to explore volunteering opportunities, meet different actors and find their own way to get engaged.

The fair will feature around 60 organisations and communities presenting volunteering opportunities. You can talk to the exhibitors, ask questions about volunteering and find a way that suits you, for example, in community activities, peer support or organising events.

The event programme will feature speeches, discussions and experiences of volunteering. Topics include community spirit, inclusion and the importance of volunteering for both individuals and the city as a whole. The keynote address for the day will be delivered by philosopher Frank Martela (in Finnish), and Miljoonasade will also perform at the event as a duo.

Volunteering offers an opportunity to meet new people, strengthen community spirit and make an impact according to your own interests and resources. There are opportunities for different life situations, interests and schedules. Activities are available for all ages, both regularly and occasionally.

The event is free of charge and open for all.
