THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR IN FINLAND THIS AUGUST

Celebrating their 40-year career, The Jesus and Mary Chain will arrive in Finland late this summer as part of their extensive world tour. The undisputed legends of alternative rock will perform at Tampere's Tullikamari Pakkahuone on Thursday, August 22nd. Tickets for the band's concert, following the release of their critically acclaimed album "Glasgow Eyes," are now on sale at Tiketti.

Led by brothers Jim and William Reid, The Jesus and Mary Chain broke into public consciousness with their debut single "Upside Down" in 1984, followed by their debut album "Psychocandy" (1985), which established them as a leading name in indie rock and shoegaze.

The dynamic and nearly telepathic connection between the brothers, who are in top live form, can be seen in their performances, which have been praised for their intense atmosphere. The Jesus and Mary Chain were last seen in Finland at Sideways in 2015 and Tavastia in 2017.
